The Semonkong and Pulane Children's Centres

The Semonkong and Pulane Children's Centres

The Semonkong Children's Centre began in February 2006, and is home to over 85 children who are either orphans or destitute.

It was started by a Missionary called Jill Kinsey who is an english granny,or `Gogo` to her Lesotho children, but is now run by missionaries, Tara and Patrick Baanen (Jill's daughter and son-in-law).

Jill has now started another Children's Centre (Oct 2008) in a village called Pulane, which is already home to 45 children.Reliant on the financial goodwill and generosity of friends and family, she provides for all the needs of the children in her care.
