How To Protect Your Child

From the New Age and  Spiritual Deception
         Expanded Updated Edition of
Your Child & the New Age
         TO BE RELEASED MAY 2013!
        Classroom Meditation
Unbeknownst to most parents, America’s public schools are teaching their children to use mindfulness meditation (Eastern-style meditation or TM). In a New York Times article titled “In the Classroom, a New Focus on Quieting the Mind,” elementary children in an Oakland, California school are promised peace and loving-kindness if they will learn to meditate.
An eleven-year-old explains, “I was losing at baseball, and I was about to throw a bat . . . The mindfulness really helped.”1 While that may sound like a great thing to a lot of teachers, the article acknowledges where this comes from:
"As summer looms, students at dozens of schools across the country are trying hard to be in the present moment. This is what is known as mindfulness training, in which stress-reducing techniques drawn from Buddhist meditation are wedged between reading and spelling tests."2
A whole new generation of children is being drawn into New Age/New Spirituality, and it is happening right under their parents’ noses. While some of us grieve the real-world consequences of this cultural revolution, a rising chorus of voices are now demanding acceptance of today’s paradigm shift.
Their positive spin inspires visions of an evolved humanity that is bursting out of the old shackles of Christian morality, traditional guidelines, and parental restraints. This new civilization reminds me of Isaiah’s ancient warning: “And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly [insolently] against the ancient [the elder], and the base against the honorable” (Isaiah 3:5).
The promise from the New Age is world peace, but it’s not God’s kind of peace; thus, it is not a true and lasting peace! As enticing counterfeits develop, they will surely widen divisions among those who call themselves by the name of Christ. While the world calls for unity at any cost (a whatever it takes approach), His people can’t conform to its ways, visions, hopes, or dreams. “Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword” (Matthew 10:34).
On the other hand, our Lord has promised peace, strength, and eternal hope to all who know, trust, and follow Him:
"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." (John 14:27)
But those who heed counterfeit promises and seek spiritual favors from occult sources become blind to His grace. Deceptions will multiply, and sadly, children are deception’s biggest targets. In this precarious situation in which we find ourselves, we should remember the Bible’s warnings:
"Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ." (Colossians 2:8)

Just over two years ago this ministry released a prophetic article called "The Terrain Has Changed". It turned out to be the most widely responded-to article we've shared in several years of posting prophetic words and teachings on the Christian internet. For many months responses poured in from all over the world affirming the witness of many in the Body of Christ to the article and its timeliness. I still receive emails from people having recently read it for the first time. The following article follows on from The Terrain Has Changed and is our final Diggers List post. If you have not yet read the "terrain" article for yourself I strongly recommend you do so as it will assist in receiving and understanding what follows. (Please click on the above link or visit our website under the Bread for the Bride articles to read The Terrain has Changed.) May the Lord grant us ears to hear.

The Burning City
Between September 2002 and February 2004 I was given a series of seven visions in which the Lord Jesus Christ led me through a wilderness He called "the valley of the kings". The first six of these were primarily relevant to my own spiritual growth and will probably never be released to the Body in general. The seventh and final vision, which unfolded from September 2003 through to February 2004 is what I am going to relate here. At that time I was not released to share this vision, nor did I have enough understanding of it to do so. However, I made reference to it in "The Terrain has Changed" which I posted through our Diggers Email List in February 2005, when I wrote the following paragraph:

"Recently I was given a vision of a great walled city that was burning. The burning city represented the false church. The gates of this burning city were locked tight, but from a small, hidden side entrance in the walls of this great city a remnant of ragged, wounded, thirsty people of all ages were staggering out into what looked to them like an arid wilderness. However, waiting in that wilderness were others with unlimited supplies of Living Water from which this remnant were given drink. They were then shown revelation of Christ as their Sabbath rest and given manna to eat. Those waiting to minister to them in this way were the forerunners. There was more to this vision that I am not able to share at this time, but the Lord wants His people to know that He has furnished a table for them even in the wilderness."

Here now is the detailed vision received through September 2003 to February 2004 as I recorded it at that time. I will share my understanding and interpretation of it immediately following the vision.

Valley Of The Kings
7, September 2003:

Again I was riding behind the Lord, He on a white horse, dressed in a crown and kingly robes of purple. The landscape was dry and flat, a barren desert. Scattered about on the ground were pieces of metal, dry bones, and rusting armory. It became evident we were riding across a battlefield. As we rode, we came upon a military tank to the left of us. It was completely unmarked and uncamouflaged, just a plain brown all over. I could not see the occupants, but knew it was manned and lethal because as we approached it turned its sites and gun towards us. The gun protruded out of the centre of the tank's front, aiming straight at me, and I became aware whoever was inside it badly wanted to destroy me. The Lord, however, was not at all disturbed, simply looking back briefly with the casual comment, "It cannot harm you - you are with Me." We stopped and He dismounted, straight in front of the tank. He assisted me to dismount, put His arm around my shoulder and pointed off to the distance. He was speaking, but I could not make out what He was saying. I said "Lord, what are we looking at?"

I heard the voice of the Spirit say "look and see", and then saw for the first time, in the far distance, a great walled city with skyscrapers reaching far into the sky. I waited, watching, but no explanation came. Finally, I said, "Lord, what city is this?" hoping I might be given a glimpse of the heavenly city. I then saw flashes of light rising up from the city into the sky, but these weren't the light of glory. They were more like violent explosions similar to images of a warfront on the T.V. news and I began to understand this was not that city I hoped it would be. He spoke: "This city represents the cities of earth. It might be any city. The cities of the earth are in turmoil." That's all He said, but in my spirit, I became even more intensely aware we were standing on a battlefield, watching a warzone. The entire world was a battlefield. I did not like this place and longed for a cool, green place with water. I felt as if the Lord would have more to say about this when He was ready.

In February, 2004 during a time of deep worship, the vision continued: The Lord and I were standing at the same distance from the walled city as in the previous vision in September, but this time we were leaning against an old-fashioned car. The car was brown in colour and very solid, much like one of those old cars from the nineteen-fifties that we used to see the Queen or Prime Minister touring in - very strong, very sturdy, very reliable. I could see that the city was well and truly on fire now. The Lord was saying nothing and I looked again at the car, wondering what we were doing, leaning on this car, just standing here watching (rather casually I thought) while this city was burning. It occurred to me that the only thing noteworthy about this car was its solidness and strength. It was unattractive in colour, not eye-catching to look at and had no obvious added options. In fact it seemed to blend well into the surrounding desert, plain and unadorned, but the sense was that it was very trustworthy and mechanically sound. I knew not to speak, but to myself I wondered how long we were going to just stand and look at this city burning. I couldn't see inside the city, just the high walls and flames rising above them. I knew a lot of people inside the city were suffering, and started to feel concerned for them. Then the Lord spoke: "Watch".

As I watched with Him from a distance, it seemed like a small gateway in the wall of the city opened just slightly. Out of the opening came a stream of people, heading towards us. Most of them stayed in a straight path moving closer to us, but some of them left the crowd and went off in other directions looking for something. I heard the Spirit say, "they will perish in the desert." The majority stayed in a loosely formed group moving towards us, and as they came closer I could see they were in a very bad state. Again to myself I thought "Who are they?" and heard Him answer: "They are refugees - they are looking for refuge from the world. They are looking for Me."

As the people came closer I noticed there were many women and children, as well as men. People continued to make their way out of the city in small groups of twos and threes joining the growing stream. The first ones had reached us by this stage and I saw they were disoriented, exhausted and barely able to stand. All of them were dressed in the same drab brown torn rags, women, children and men, and filth and dirt was streaked down their faces and over their bodies. They seemed to be malnourished and very thirsty. Some of the people, just as they drew close to us, threw their hands up in the air as if to dismiss us and wandered away out into to the desert. Even though they had come so close, they did not believe we could have anything to offer them, or they wanted something else. I knew I'd never see them again.

The Lord then suddenly spoke again: "Give them water". Startled, my immediate thought was "From where?" Then looking around I saw an animal skin filled with water hanging from the car behind us. I then noticed a silver coloured metal ladle in my hand so began to scoop out water and pass it to those closest in front of me. They were desperately thirsty and I needed to keep drawing more water and passing it to them. As more people from the city were now reaching us and crowding in at the back, I told those in the front to give water to the ones further back that I could not reach. The water did not run out and I found when the ladle was passed to the back, another one was in my hand. Not only were the people drinking the water, they now started pouring it over their heads and then their bodies, and the dirt and grime was being washed away. With each scoop of the ladle there was enough water for them to drink and also pour over their whole bodies.

My attention was then drawn to the sky, which I noticed was growing darker as if night was approaching. Without thinking about it, I suddenly laid down on the ground in front of the people, as if to rest. When I did so, all of the people did as I had done, laying down on the ground to rest. I did not tell them to do this, they simply watched and followed what I had done, as if they had never seen it before. I heard the Lord say "in the morning you will give them manna".
End of Vision

My comments on this vision:

The City
The Lord called the burning city "the world". In this context, the world is not a collection of nations, oceans and geographical landmarks as we are taught in school. Jesus spoke of a spiritual world system hostile to the Kingdom of God that would one day come to an end (Matt. 13:22, 39-40; 16:26; Luke 4:5; John 8:23). This world system embodies three major spiritual sub-systems or 'kingdoms". These are politics, commerce and religion. In Revelation 18 we read that the kings of the earth (political) and the merchants of the earth (commercial) will weep and mourn at the fall of the great spiritual city, Babylon, with whom they traded in many commodities, including 'the souls of men' (religious) (Rev. 18:12).

It's important to remember that the Bible speaks of the "world" and the "church" as two separate spiritual entities. However, a great section of institutional Christianity is now so entwined with the world system that it would be virtually unrecognizable to the first apostles and early church members as the church Christ established. In other words, much of what is today called the church is not the church Christ is building, having become so compromised and at ease in the world as to be indistinguishable from the world. Sadly, much of institutional religion has joined itself to the tri-part world system that enslaves men, (Babylon). Please note I am not here speaking of specific individual churches or assemblies of believers. I am speaking of a religious belief system where man himself has wrested control from the Spirit of God and where individuals and denominations vie for power and influence over the souls of human beings. The true church of Christ is and has always been a spiritual structure, not dependent on the world for its existence, sustenance or continuation. For those who may be wondering where their own individual church or fellowship fits into this vision I can only advise you to seek the mind of the Spirit for your own direction. To whatever extent any individual assembly, house church or religious denomination seeks to enslave and dominate people, however subtly, that group is still caught up in a false religious mentality. The Bride-church is currently on a journey into freedom from false religion and none of us have yet arrived at the end destination. Let us all therefore proceed with humility and courage.

Christ continues to build His church as He said He would but through His Spirit and not through institutional religion. The burning city represents the world system inclusive of the false apostate church who calls herself the Bride of Christ but who is not. "The light of a lamp shall not shine in you anymore, and the voice of bridegroom and bride shall not be heard in you anymore." (Rev. 18:23).

The People
The ragged, abused and weary people escaping from the burning city represent both believers and unbelievers. The believers among them are those who can no longer endure the compromised religious system and are desperately seeking freedom outside its walls. These people did not realize their tragic and needy state. Some were so damaged, disoriented or bitter they wandered blindly in other directions away from where healing awaited them.

The Water, the Rest and the Manna
The Lord Himself is going to rise up as the Great Shepherd of the Sheep (Heb. 13:20), reclaiming His Bride-church, so that she will testify of Him "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want." The Holy Spirit has quickened Psalm 23 as an insight into the next part of this vision, and I believe what He has given here is a blueprint (one of many) for ministering to those emerging from the burning city in the days ahead.

"He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters, He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake."

I was first instructed to give the people water and though I thought I had no water I found I had all I needed miraculously supplied. As those in the front rows began to drink and wash they became strong enough to pass the water back to others still coming, and it did not run out. This water is the living water of the Holy Spirit which the Lord will pour out for His people . "For the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters." (Rev. 7:17) These are still waters, not in the sense that they do not move or flow, but in the sense that they bring peace. They are a perpetual fountain of fresh, living water that is available to us (beside us) continually. . The term "still" in the original Hebrew comes from a root word meaning "peaceful rest". Those who partake of these waters of peace need never fear thirsting again, for He Himself will satisfy them with His own Spirit. (John 4:14; 7:38).

I believe the first step in ministering to those emerging from institutional religion is the deep drinking and soaking of the Spirit of God that will bring peace, healing and deep delight in Jesus. This water is applied as the people learn to yield to the Spirit in unhindered worship in Spirit and truth. Many will discover for the first time the joy of ministering to the Lord in the beauty of holiness as His own royal priesthood.

In the vision I did what seems like a strange thing. I laid down as if to rest. This was demonstrated rather than spoken and the people observed and imitated me. The Lord is leading His people into a place of abundant rest and refuge, but this is a place spiritually discerned and found only in Him, the Shepherd. His rest will not be found through any building, denomination or physical place of worship on this earth. He alone will be the dwelling place for His Bride-church and He will not allow her to be enslaved any longer by a system that requires her to earn her rest. Institutional Christianity has become a place of multiple rulers where believers are rewarded with recognition and higher position according to how hard they work for the system. They are conformed to the system rather than conformed to Christ. Conversely, the Kingdom of God is a theocracy where One rules and those who have entered His Kingdom have ceased from labour and are being conformed to the image of Christ by the power of the Spirit (Heb. 4:10). People coming out from the institutional system do not know how to rest from dead works because they have never been shown. Their leaders have not been able to demonstrate a lifestyle of spiritual rest in Christ because they too are captive to the same mentality. Therefore those coming out of the system need time and grace to enter that rest by faith and revelation of Christ as our Sabbath Rest.

After demonstrating spiritual rest, I heard the Voice of the Lord instructing: "In the morning you will give them manna". In the scriptures manna represents the pure doctrine of the Word. The Lord intends to nourish His people by being the Living Bread for His emerging Bride-church so that she will live by Him and through Him alone. "As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on me will live because of Me. This is the bread which came down from Heaven, not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live for ever. " (John 6:57-58).

When the sheep have been refreshed by living waters and led into their place of refuge, then will they be ready to eat freely of the green pastures the Lord our Shepherd has provided. As they receive nourishment from the richness of His pastures, their souls will be restored with healing, refreshment and spiritual rest. (Please note spiritual rest is not inactivity - it is a ceasing from fleshly striving.)

The Lord will lead His Bride-church into paths of righteousness for His own Name's sake. He is jealous over His Name and therefore will have for Himself a people worthy of that Name.

I believe in this vision the Lord, in His mighty wisdom, has given a three step blueprint, a pattern if you like, for ministering to those escaping the "burning city", and it is this:

*Allow them first to be soaked in the Spirit of God and let their thirst for the reality of Christ be satisfied. Let them discover they are not slaves, but sons, not laity but priests. Anointed, Spirit led worship is a major key in this first step;

*Show them what spiritual rest is. Let them learn to cease from their striving by the demonstration of those who have gone ahead and found Jesus as their Sabbath-rest. This foundational truth cannot be taught by someone who has not begun already to walk in it.

*Then, begin to feed them Living Bread. Let them be nourished, strengthened and released into freedom through the Word of truth permeated with the Spirit of truth.

(Please note the blueprint given above was the one given to me, but that is not to say there are not other diverse blueprints being given to others in readiness for the days ahead.)

The Harvest and the Net
While preparing and praying about this prophetic posting I was allowed to see something I had not seen previously when the vision was first given. The Spirit asked me: "Where will these ones go when they have soaked, rested and fed?"

I looked again and saw many of them, now strengthened and free, were returning to the burning city intent on helping rescue those still emerging. I did not see any re-enter former places of worship. Rather they stood in the streets and the byways, and around the outskirts of the burning city. There they watched, prayed and made themselves available to those who themselves had decided to flee the flames of the burning city. I looked again and saw that those who had gone deepest into the city were passing emerging "survivors" on to those further out, who would do what was needful and then again pass these survivors on to others who had training in specific areas. I saw assembly points such as the one I had seen earlier in the vision where those with blueprints ministered to the people with the pattern of the blueprint they had been given. A great connected living net of believers began to emerge where each one carried out his or her task with effectiveness, devoid of fuss, each joined to others as the Spirit Himself connected them. There was no central organizational body or headquarters on the earth, yet each knew what to do and did it in co-operation with the Spirit and the others to whom they were joined. And in this way were they all connected to one another, with the Spirit overseeing the entire operation. This all took place in much darkness, but those in the great network could see and find one another without any difficulty at all, though they themselves could not be easily seen by the world.

A Word To The Forerunners
Finally, the Lord has given a new word to the forerunners which follows below.

There is coming a unity, there is coming a joining and a knitting. Search your hearts. Do you not know deep within the travail of the Spirit for that which He will bring forth? I have watched while man strives to build that which is Mine only to build, and I have seen the workmanship of man. It will not stand, for I will blow with a mighty Wind and all that is not Mine will be blown away like chaff. Do not be deceived, for the house I preside over is a house of the living and not the dead. You will know what is Mine for what is Mine will carry the sweetness and power of My Life and not the stench of death.

The church that I am building is joined and knit together by the Spirit, where the only wall is a united wall moving forward against the enemy of your souls. It is a walled city set high on a hill, not divided against itself but fortified against the enemy. It is a city of refuge for many, a living, breathing entity powered by the very breath of Heaven, the Ruach ha Kodesh, founded and undergirded by the Word Himself. Be prepared now to move toward one another as the Spirit knits hearts and minds. It shall not be by the might nor the power of men, but the Spirit of the Lord. In this unity, in this company shall you contend with horsemen in the days that lie ahead of Us.

Let those of you who have been called as forerunners listen and sharpen your senses once again for the movement of the Spirit in your midst. To those who have grown comfortable I say arise and do not be lulled again into sleep for the Spirit is always moving, always stirring, always revealing. Beware comfort, beware the murmuring of your own flesh and the desire to be accepted by the world. Do you not understand yet that the world and all that is in it is condemned to destruction?

Many of you were called as forerunners many years ago and even that which was new has become now a place of ease and comfort for you. I am sending out a new sound to you. I want you to hear the trumpet call but many ears have grown dull with the waiting. Hear now what the Spirit says to you. Arise and look to the state of your dwelling place. Wash your faces and gird your loins again. For there is a new place for you, a place of knitting, a place of joining, a place of "us" and not "I". It will not look like that which you have observed and rejected, it will not feel like it either. But you have been given the Spirit for this very purpose so that which is Mine will be known and recognized by that anointing that rises up in you, and in those of the same Spirit. Have you not been learning to trust My Spirit in this way? You must do so if you are to stand in the days ahead. Have you not been learning from My Spirit how to wield My Word as His Sword? You must learn the ways of the Spirit and My Word together if you are to be a warrior for My Kingdom.

I am raising you up now as a company of overcomers. Where you have run so often alone, tracing out paths for others to follow, I will now merge you together as a company upon the face of the earth. You will be knit to others by My Spirit and so I will have a true representative Body upon the earth. The freedom you have gained in the Spirit will not be restricted or hindered, but rather will be completed as the Spirit joins and knits and weaves as a Master Craftsman. Your part will be to follow closely and learn His ways in this new terrain.

I told you I would not leave you orphans on the earth. I told you nothing in Heaven or earth would ever separate us, not persecution, nor trials, not death, nor all the forces of hell. I told you I would build My church. I told you the gates of hell will not prevail against you, My church. The living stones must now be brought together for my dwelling place in the Spirit. This is the word you will hear in the days ahead, this is the clear trumpet sound going forth from Heaven. Let the living stones now begin to find their places, each fire merging with others, each bringing their own light and illumination to the whole, a city set on a hill and a place of refuge for the hungry and thirsty. Let my company of overcoming forerunners arise and lead the way, no longer isolated and separated, but a company riding.

End Of Word
Lord, let your Kingdom come, let your will be done, and let it be on earth as it is in Heaven.
The Lion has roared. Who shall not fear? The Lord God has spoken, who can but prophesy? (Amos 3:8)
Cheryl McGrath

With great judgments will I plead with the population of this country. Great darkness is coming upon the countries that have heard my gospel but no longer walk in it. My wrath shall come upon them. The darkness shall be so great, and the anguish so sore that men will cry out for death and shall not find it. There shall be a lingering death, famine, and great catastrophes.

My wrath shall be manifested against all ungodliness. It shall come with great intensity. You have known My love but have not known My wrath, My severity. My judgments are literal and not a thing to be lightly passed over. Realize the severity of My judgments and My intense anger against the sin in My household. My judgments shall begin in my house. For I will cleanse My house that it be not partaker of My wrath against the iniquities of the cities. Before I visit the nations in judgment I will begin at My house. When I do cause My wrath to come upon the cities of the world My people shall be separate. I desire a people without spot or wrinkle, and such shall be preserved by Me in the time of My wrath coming upon all iniquity and unrighteousness.

I am going to prepare you for the coming days by a hard path that will cause you to cry out continually unto Me. For when the going is easy, men do not seek Me, but rejoice in a temporary blessing. And when that blessing is removed they so often turn this way and that way but do not come to Me. I am showing you these things that you may seek Me continually and with great diligence. As you seek Me, I will open up truths to you that you have not seen before; and these very truths will be that which will enable you to stand in these last days. As you are persecuted, reviled and rejected by your brethren then you will turn unto Me with all your heart and seek Me for the spiritual life you have need of. And when tribulation comes you will have that which will enable you to stand. For many shall be tossed to and fro. Men's hearts shall fail them because of the trouble on every hand. For these days shall be very terrible, the like of which has never been seen before.

When I visit My people in mighty revival power, it is to prepare them for the darkness ahead. With the glory shall come great darkness, for the glory is to prepare My people for the darkness. I will enable My people to go through because of the visitation of My Spirit. Take heed to yourselves lest you be puffed up and think that you have arrived. Many shall be puffed up as in the olden days, for many then received My message but they continued not in it. Did I not anoint Jehu? Yet the things I desired were not accomplished in his life. Listen to the messengers, but do not hold men's persons in admiration. For many whom I shall anoint mightily, with signs and miracles, shall become lifted up and shall fall by the wayside. I do not do this willingly; I have made provision that they might stand. I call many into the ministry, and equip them; but remember that many shall fall. They shall be like bright lights, and the people shall delight in them. But they shall be taken over by deceiving spirits and shall lead many of My people astray.

Hearken diligently concerning these things, for in the last days shall come seducing spirits that shall turn many of My anointed ones away. Many shall fall through divers lusts and because of sin abounding. But if you will seek Me diligently I will put My Spirit within you. When one shall turn to the right hand or to the left you shall not turn with them, but keep your eyes wholly on the Lord. The coming days are the most dangerous, difficult and dark, but there shall be a mighty outpouring of My Spirit upon many cities, and many shall be destroyed. My people must be diligently warned concerning the days that are ahead. Many shall turn after seducing spirits; many are already seducing My people. It is those who DO righteousness that are righteous. Many cover their sins by great theological words. But I warn you of seducing spirits who instruct My people in an evil way. Many of these I shall anoint, that they may purify and sift My people; for I would have a holy people.

Many shall come with seducing spirits and hold out lustful enticements. You will find that after I have visited My people again, the way shall become more and more narrow, and fewer shall walk there in. But be not deceived, the ways of righteousness are My ways. For though Satan comes as an angel of light hearken not to him; for those who perform miracles and speak not righteousness are not of Me. I warn you with great intensity that I am going to judge My house and have a church without spot or wrinkle when I come. I desire to open your eyes and give you spiritual understanding that you may not be deceived but may walk with uprightness of heart before Me, loving righteousness and hating every evil way. Look unto Me and I will make you to perceive with the eyes of the Spirit the things that lurk in darkness, that are not visible to the human eye. Let me lead you in this way that you may perceive the powers of darkness and battle against them. It is not a battle against flesh and blood; for if you battle in that way you accomplish nothing. But if you let Me take over and battle against the powers of darkness then they are defeated, and then liberation is brought to My people.

I warn you to search the scriptures diligently these last days. For the things that are written shall indeed be made manifest. There shall come deceivers among My people in increasing numbers, who shall speak forth the truth and shall gain the favor of the people. For the people shall examine the Scriptures and say, "What these men say is true." Then when they have gained the hearts of the people, then and then only shall they bring out these wrong doctrines. Therefore, I say that you should not give your hearts to men, nor hold people's persons in admiration. For by these very persons shall Satan enter into My people. Watch for Seducers. Do you think a seducer will brandish a new heresy and flaunt it before the people? He will speak the words of righteousness and truth, and will appear as a minister of light, declaring the Word. The people's hearts shall be won. Then, when the hearts are won, they will bring out their doctrines, and the people shall be deceived. The people shall say, "Did he not speak thus and thus? And did we not examine it from the Word? Therefore he is a minister of righteousness. This that he has now spoken we do not see in the Word, but it must be right, for the other things he spoke were true."

Be not deceived. For the deceiver will first work to gain the hearts of many, and then shall bring forth his insidious doctrines. You cannot discern those who are of Me and those who are not of Me when they start to preach. But seek ME constantly, and then when these doctrines are brought out you shall have witness in your heart that these are not of Me. Fear not, for I have warned you. Many will be deceived. But if you walk in holiness and uprightness before the Lord, your eyes shall be open and the Lord will protect you. If you will constantly look unto the Lord you will know when the doctrine changes, and will not be brought into it. If your heart is right I will keep you; and if you will look constantly to Me, I will uphold you.

The minister of righteousness shall be on this wise - his life shall agree with the Word, and his lips shall give forth that which is wholly true, and it will be no mixture. When the mixture appears then you will know he is not a minister of righteousness. The deceivers speak first the truth and then error, to cover their own sins which they love. Therefore I exhort and command you to study the Scriptures relative to seducing spirits, for this is one of the great dangers of these last days.

I desire you to be firmly established in My Word and not in the personalities of men, that you will not be moved as so many shall be moved. I would keep you in the paths of righteousness. Take heed to yourselves and follow not the seducing spirits that are already manifesting themselves. Diligently inquire of Me when you hear something that you have not seen in the Word, and do not hold people's persons in admiration, for it is by this very method that Satan will hold many of My people.

I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly, that you may triumph where I triumphed. On the cross I triumphed over all the power of Satan; and I have called you to walk in the same path. It is when your life is on the cross that you shall know the victory I have experienced. As you are on the cross, and seated in Me, then you shall know the power of the resurrection. When I come in My glory, the principalities and powers in the heavenly places shall be utterly broken. Fear not, for I have given you power whereby you may tread down the powers of darkness, and come forth victorious through every trial. As you are on the cross then you are victorious. It was on the cross that I triumphed over all the power of the enemy. My life shall flow through you as you enter into these precious truths. Look unto Me, and appropriate My life. As your eyes and desires are toward Me, and you know what it is to be crucified with Me, then you shall live, and your anointing shall increase. It was not in My life that I walked upon the earth, but it was in My life when I was upon the cross that I openly spoiled the principalities and powers.

I am showing you truths that shall cause you to overcome, to have power over the wicked one, truth that will liberate you and those round about you. You shall know also the fellowship of My sufferings. There is no other way whereby you may partake of this heavenly glory and reign with Me. "If we suffer with Him we shall reign with Him." I desire to make those truths real within you. As you keep them before you, you will liberate many who are in bondage. You will have revelation of those who are in darkness and will have the keys to liberate the captives. Many seek to liberate, but they have not the keys. Upon the cross continually you will know the power of My resurrection that you may also partake of My glory. As you are willing to walk with Me and rejoice in your sufferings, you shall partake of My glory. Look unto Me for you have need of power to overcome the wicked one, and the bondages in other lives.

If you will indeed judge yourself you shall not be judged. As you seek My face and desire to be cleansed by Me in all truth and sincerity of heart I will judge you in the secret place, and the things that are in the secret place of your heart shall not be made manifest to others. I will do it in the secret place and no man shall know it. And the shame that shall be seen on many faces shall not be seen on your face. Therefore in love and mercy I am instructing you. And therefore I have said that if a man judge himself he shall not be judged. It is not My good pleasure that the shame of My people be seen by all. How can I judge the world if I judge not first My own house? Hearken unto these things I am telling you. If you will not hearken unto Me thy shame shall be evident to all.

I would have you consider My life on earth; the anointing upon Me was great and yet the temptations were great on every side; in one form and then in another, offering Me first the glory of the kingdoms of the earth and then reviling and persecuting Me. There will be great glory given to My people, and yet the temptations shall be intensified from every side. Think not that with the glory there shall be no temptations or persecutions. The glory of My church shall be great, and so shall be the temptations from the enemy to turn My people from My paths. I am warning you that when the glory shall be manifested, the temptations shall be great, until very few that start shall finish. First there shall be offered them great worldly possessions, and then great revilings and unbelief.

Consider your Lord, that as He walked so it shall be for you. There shall be need of great intensity of purpose. At times everyone shall rise up against you, simply to turn you from the course that I would put you in. It is written of Me that I set my face as a flint to go to the direction My Father had prescribed for Me. If you will finish the course the Lord has laid down for you, you will have to set your face as a flint. With great determination you must walk in the course laid down for you. Many of your loved ones and those who follow with you shall persuade you and try to turn you from the course. With many words that seem right in the natural they will speak to you. Did not Christ rebuke Peter who would turn Him from the course God had prescribed?

Understand these two things and meditate upon them solemnly - the persecution and the darkness shall be as great as the glory in order to try to turn the elect and the anointed ones from the path the Lord has laid down for them. Many shall start but few shall be able to finish because of the greatness of grace that shall be needed to be able to endure unto the end. The temptations and the persecution of your Lord was continuous. He was tempted by Satan in many forms throughout His entire life and even to the cross where the ungodly cried out, "If thou be the Christ come down from the cross." Think not that there shall be a time of no persecution, for it shall be from the time of your anointing until the end. Difficulties, and great persecution to the end. The Lord must prepare you to be an overcomer in all things, that you may be able to finish the course. The persecution shall increase even as the anointing shall increase.

In paths of judgment and righteousness shall the Lord God lead His people and bring them into that place which He has chosen for them. For the Lord has chosen a place for His people, a place of righteousness and holiness where He shall encamp round about them. And all who will be led of the Lord shall be brought into this holy place. For the Lord delights to dwell in His people and manifest Himself through His people. The holiness of the Lord shall be manifested through His people. Let the Lord lead you and He will lead you in difficult places. He led His people of old through a place where no man dwelt, where no man had passed through in a place of great danger and in the shadow of death. The Lord will indeed again lead His people through such places, and yet He will bring them out into a place of great glory. Understand that the way toward the glory is fraught with great danger and many shall fall to the right or to the left, many shall camp on lesser ground. But the Lord has a place of holiness and no unclean thing shall dwell among His people.

Put your trust in Him and He will bring you into a place of holiness. He desires to bring His people into great glory - the like of which has never been seen for what the Lord will do for those who put their trust in Him. It is a place of darkness and great danger that separates His people into the place He would have them walk in. He will protect them from the voices that would turn them from His path. He will bring them through the dark places, and through the treacherous paths, out into the light of His glory. He will rejoice greatly over His beloved and cause you to be filled with joy unspeakable. He seeks to lead His people into a new place of grace and glory where He will indeed encamp among them. Put your trust in Him and He will surely bring you into this new place.

Fear not the days to come, but fear this only - that you shall walk in a manner pleasing to the Lord. In this time I am ordering and setting up My church and it shall indeed be pure, without spot or wrinkle. I will do work in My beloved that has not been seen since the foundation of the world. I have shown you these things that you may seek the Lord diligently with all your heart, and that you may be a preserver of His people.

Run not to this one nor to that one, for the Lord has so ordained that salvation is in Him and in Him alone. You shall not turn to this shepherd or to that one, for there shall be a great scattering upon the earth. Therefore look unto Him for He will indeed make these things clear to you. You shall not look here nor there, for the wells that once had water shall be no more. But as you diligently seek Him He shall increase your strength and your faith, that He may be able to prepare you for this time that is coming.

The truths that I have revealed to you must become a part of you - not just an experience, but a part of your very nature. Is it not written that I demand truth in the inward parts? It is the truth of the Lord expressed in your very being that shall hold you. Many shall experience the truth, but the truth must become a part of you, your very life. As men and women look upon you they will hear not only the voice but see the expression of the truth. Many shall be overcome because they are not constant in My ways, and because they have not permitted the truths to become part of them. I am showing you these things that you may be prepared and having done all,

The Day of Disaster is Almost Upon You!

Thus Saith the Lord;

Humble yourselves, My people. Humble yourselves so that I may lift you up. OH THE DAY OF DISASTER, the day of disaster for the arrogant and the proud is almost upon you.

Again and again I have warned, but SO FEW WILL LISTEN! Man has become so arrogant that he believes he can handle his own destiny. HE CANNOT! It is not in man to guide his own steps. Does not My Word tell you that?

Jeremiah obeyed Me and he gave My Words to the people again and again. He told them that they must listen to Me and that he who humbled himself would be saved. Did they listen? No, they refused to listen and they refused to obey the warnings of their Lord and their God. Today much the same thing is happening. For many years I have warned My people through My servants the prophets. AGAIN FEW ARE LISTENING BECAUSE OF ARROGANCE! Too many of My people are completely unprepared for the disasters that are almost upon them.

HUMBLE YOURSELVES for only the humble hear My voice clearly. When I say, "THIS IS THE WAY, WALK YE IN IT," the humble will say YES LORD, and they will obey. The proud and the arrogant will argue that it cannot be the way, and they will go their own way to disaster.

Oh My people, I have tried again and again to wake you up, but most of you are determined to keep your lives set in the pattern that you yourselves have laid out. BELIEVE ME WHEN I TELL YOU THAT EVERY SINGLE LIFE ON EARTH WILL SOON BE TURNED UPSIDE DOWN! All that will really matter is your walk with Me and it is imperative that our relationship is so close that you always hear My voice. SOON YOU WILL HAVE NOTHING TO HOLD ONTO BUT ME!

"Impossible With Man, Possible With God "

Andrew Murray:

"And he said, the things which are impossible with men are possible with God" (Luke 18:27).
Christ had said to the rich young ruler, "Sell all that thou hast ... and come, follow me." The young man went
away sorrowful. Christ then turned to the disciples,: and said: "How hardly shall they that have riches enter into
the kingdom of God!" The disciples, we read, were greatly astonished, and answered: "Who, then, can be
saved?" And Christ gave this blessed answer: "The things which are impossible with men are possible with
God" (Luke 18:2227).
The text contains two thoughts-that in the question of salvation and of following Christ by a holy life, it is
impossible for man to do it. And then alongside that is the thought-- What is impossible with man is possible
with God.
These two thoughts mark the two great lessons that man has to learn in the Christian life. It often takes a long
time to learn the first lesson-that in the Christian life man can do nothing, that salvation is impossible to man.
And often a man learns that, and yet he does not learn the second lesson-what has been impossible to him is
possible with God. Blessed is the man who learns both lessons! The learning of them marks stages in the
Christian's life.
The one stage is when a man is trying to do his utmost and fails, when a man tries to do better and falls again,
when a man tries much more and always fails. And yet, very often he does not even then learn the lesson: With
man it is impossible to serve God and Christ. Peter spent three years in Christ's school, and he never learned, it
is impossible, until he had denied his Lord, went out, and wept bitterly. Then he learned it.
Just look for a moment at a man who is learning this lesson. At first, he fights against it. Then, he submits to it,
but reluctantly and in despair. At last, he accepts it A,llllngly and rejoices in it. At the beginning of the Christian
life, the young convert has no conception of this truth. He has been converted; he has the joy of the Lord in his
heart; he begins to run the race and fight the battle. He is sure he can conquer, for he is earnest and honest,
and God will help him. Yet, somehow, very soon he fails where he did not expect it, and sin gets the better of
him. He is disappointed, but he thinks: "I was not cautious enough. I did not make my resolutions strong
enough." And again he vows, and again he prays, and yet he fails. He thinks: "Am I not, a redeemed man? Have
I not the life of God within me?" And he thinks again: "Yes, and I have Christ to help me. I can live the holy life."
At a later period, he comes to another state of mind. He begins to see such a life is impossible, but he does not
accept it. There are multitudes of Christians who come to this point: "I cannot." They then think that God never
expected them to do what they cannot do. If you tell them that God does expect it, it is a mystery to them. A
good many Christians are living a low life-a life of failure and of sin-instead of rest and victory, because they
began to say: "I cannot, it is impossible." And yet they do not understand it fully. So, under the impression, I
cannot, they give way to despair. They will do their best, but they never expect to get on very far.
But God leads His children on to a third stage. A man comes to take, it is impossible, in its full truth, and yet at
the same time says: "I must do it, and I will do it-it is impossible for man, and yet I must do it." The renewed will
begins to exercise its whole power, and in intense longing and prayer begins to cry to God: "Lord, what is the
meaning of this? How am I to be freed from the power of sin?"
It is the state of the regenerate man in Romans, chapter seven. There you will find the Christian man trying his
very utmost to live a holy life. God's law has been revealed to him as reaching down into the very depth of the
desires of the heart. The man can dare to say:
"I delight in the law of God after the inward man. To will what is good is present with me. My heart loves the law
of God, and my will has chosen that law."
Can a man like that fail, with his heart full of delight in God's law and with his will determined to do 'What is
right? Yes. That is what Romans, chapter seven teaches us. There is something more needed. Not only must I
delight in the law of God after the inward man and will what God wills, but I need a divine omnipotence to work
it in me. And that is what the apostle Paul teaches in Philippians 2:13: "It is God which worketh in you, both to
will and to do of his good pleasure."
Page 1/4"Impossible With Man, Possible With God "
Note the contrast. In Romans, chapter seven, the regenerate man says: "To will is present with me, but how to
perform that which is good I find not" (Romans 7:18). But in Philippians, chapter two, you have a man who has
been led on farther. He is a man who understands that when God has worked the renewed will, God will give the
power to accomplish what that will desires. Let us receive this as the first great lesson in the spiritual life: "It is
impossible for me, my God. Let there be an end of the flesh and all its powers, an end of self, and let it be my
glory to be helpless.
Praise God for the divine teaching that makes us helpless!
When you thought of absolute surrender to God, were you not brought to an end of yourself? Did you not feel
that you could see how you actually could live as a -nan absolutely surrendered to God every moment of the
day-at your table, in your house, in your business, in the midst of trials and temptations? I pray you learn the
lesson now. If you felt you could not do it, you are on the right road, if you let yourselves be led. Accept that
position, and maintain it before God: "My heart's desire and delight, 0 God, is absolute surrender, but I cannot
perform it. It is impossible for me to live that life. it is beyond me." Fall down and learn that when you are utterly
helpless, God will come to work in you not only to will, but also to do.
Now comes the second lesson. "The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. "
I said a little while ago that there is many a man who has learned the lesson, it is impossible with men, and then
he gives up in helpless despair. He lives a wretched Christian life, without joy or strength or victory. And why?
Because he does not humble himself to learn that other lesson: With God all things are possible.
Your Christian life is to be a continuous proof that God works impossibilities. Your Christian life is to be a
series of impossibilities made possible and actual by God's almighty power. That is what the Christian needs.
He has an almighty God that he worships, and he must learn to understand that he does not need a little of
God's power. But, he needs-with reverence be it said-the whole of God's omnipotence to keep him right, and to
live like a Christian.
The whole of Christianity is a work of God's omnipotence. Look at the birth of Christ Jesus. That was a miracle
of divine power, and it was said to Mary: "With God nothing shall be impossible" (Luke 1:37). It was the
omnipotence of God. Look at Christ's resurrection. We are taught that it was according to the exceeding
greatness of His mighty power that God raised Christ from the dead.
Every tree must grow on the root from which it springs. An oak tree three hundred years old grows all the time
on the one root from which it had its beginning. Christianity had its beginning in the omnipotence of God. In
every soul, Christianity must have its continuance in that omnipotence. All the possibilities of the higher
Christian life have their origin in a new understanding of Christ's power to work all God's will in us.
I want to call on you now to come and worship an almighty God. Have you learned to do it? Have you learned to
deal so closely with an almighty God that you know omnipotence is working in you? In outward appearance
there is often little sign of it.
The apostle Paul said: "I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling, and ... my preaching was
... in demonstration of the Spirit and of power" (I Corinthians 2:3,4). From the human side there was feebleness;
from the divine side there was divine omnipotence. And that is true of every godly life. If we would only learn
that lesson better, and give a wholehearted, undivided surrender to it, we would learn what blessedness there is
in dwelling every hour and every moment with an almighty God. Have you ever studied in the Bible the attribute
of God's omnipotence? You know that it was God's omnipotence that created the world, and created light out of
darkness, and created man. But have you studied God's omnipotence in the works of redemption?
Look at Abraham. When God called him to be the father of that people out of which Christ was to be born, He
said to him: "I am the Almighty God, walk before me and be thou perfect" (Genesis 17: 1)'. And God trained
Abraham to trust Him as the omnipotent One. Whether it was his going out to a land that he did not know, or his
faith as a pilgrim midst the thousands of Canaanites-his faith said: "This is my land." Whetherit was his faith in
waiting twenty-five years for a son in his old age, against all hope, or whether it was the raising up of Isaac from
the dead on Mount Moriah when he was going to sacrifice him-Abraham believed God. He was strong in faith,
giving glory to God, because he accounted Him who had promised able to perform.
Page 2/4"Impossible With Man, Possible With God "
The cause of the weakness of your Christian life is that you want to work it out partly, and to let God help you.
And that cannot be. You must come to be utterly helpless, to let God work. He will work gloriously. It is this that
we need if we are indeed to be workers for God. I could go through Scripture and prove to you how Moses,
when he led Israel out of Egypt; how Joshua, when he brought them into the land of Canaan; how all God's
servants in the Old Testament counted on the omnipotence of God doing impossibilities. And this God lives
today; and this God is the God of every child of His. And yet some of us want God to give us a little help while
we do our best, instead of coming to understand what God wants, and to say: "I can do nothing. God must and
will do all." Have you said: "In worship, in work, in sanctification, in obedience to God, I can do nothing of
myself, and so my place is to worship God, and to believe that He will work in me every moment"? Oh, may God
teach us this! Oh, that God would by His grace show you what a God you have, and to what a God you have
entrusted yourself-an omnipotent God. He is willing, with His whole omnipotence, to place Himself at the
disposal of every child of His! Will we not take the lesson of the Lord Jesus, and say: "Amen; the things which
are impossible with men are possible with God"?
Remember what we have said about Peter, his selfconfidence, self-power, self-will, and how he came to deny
his Lord. You feel, "Ah! there is the self-life; there is the fleshlife that rules in me!" And now, have you believed
that there is deliverance from that? Have you believed that Almighty God is able to reveal Christ in your heart,
to let the Holy Spirit rule in you so that the self-life will not have power or dominion over you? Have you
coupled the two together- and, with tears of penitence and with deep humiliation and feebleness, cried out: "O
God, it is impossible to me; man cannot do it, but glory to Your name, it is possible with God"? Have you
claimed deliverance? Do it now. Put yourself afresh in absolute surrender into the hands of a God of infinite
love. As infinite as His love is His power to do it.
But again, we come to the question of absolute surrender, and feel that that is lacking in the Church of Christ.
That is why the Holy Spirit cannot fill us, and why we cannot live as people entirely separated unto the Holy
Spirit. That is why the flesh and the self-life cannot be conquered. We have never understood what it is to be
absolutely surrendered to God as Jesus was. I know that many earnestly and honestly say: "Amen, I accept the
message of absolute surrender to God." Yet they think: "Will that ever be mine? Can I count on God to make me
one of whom it will be said in heaven, on earth, and in hell, he lives in absolute surrender to God?" Brother,
sister, "the things which are impossible with men are possible with God." Do believe that, when He takes
charge of you in Christ, it is possible for God to make you a man of absolute surrender. And God is able to
maintain that. He is able to let you rise from bed every morning of the week with that blessed thought directly or
indirectly: "I am in God's charge. My God is working out my life for me."
Some are weary of thinking about sanctification. You pray; you have longed and cried for it; and yet, it
appeared so far off! You are so conscious of how distant the holiness and humility of Jesus is. Beloved friends,
the one doctrine of sanctification that is scriptural and real and effectual is: "The things which are impossible
with men are possible with God." God can sanctify men. By His almighty and sanctifying power, God can keep
them every moment. Oh, that we might get a step nearer to our God now! Oh, that the light of God might shine,
and that we might know our God better!
I could go on to speak about the life of Christ in us-living like Christ, taking Christ as our Savior from sin, and
as our life and strength. It is God in heaven who can reveal that in you. What does that prayer of the apostle
Paul say: "That he would grant you according to riches of his glory, to be strength- ened with might by his
Spirit in the inner man" (Ephesians 3:16)? Do you not see that it is an omnipotent God working by His
omnipotence in the heart of His believing children, so that Christ can become an indwelling Savior? You have
tried to grasp it, understand it, and to believe it, and it would not come. It was because you had not been
brought to believe that "the things which are impossible with men are possible with God."
And so I trust that the word spoken about love may have brought many to see that we must have an inflowing of
love in quite a new way. Our heart must be filled with life from above- from the Fountain of everlasting love-if it
is going to overflow all day. Then it will be just as natural for us to love our fellow-men as it is natural for the
lamb to be gentle and the wolf to be cruel. When I am brought to such a state that the more a man hates and
speaks evil of me--the more unlikable and unlovable a man isthe more I will love him. When I am brought to
such a state that the more obstacles, hatred, and ingratitude surround me, the more the power of love can
triumph in me. Until I am brought to see these, I am not saying: "It is impossible with men." But if you have
been led to say: "This message has spoken to me about a love utterly beyond my power. It is absolutely
impossible"-then we can come to God and say: "It is possible with You."
Page 3/4"Impossible With Man, Possible With God "
Some are crying to God for a great revival. I can say that this is the unceasing prayer of my heart. Oh, if God
would only revive His believing people! I cannot think of the unconverted formalists of the Church or of the
infidels and skeptics or of all the wretched and perishing around me, without my heart pleading: "My God,
revive Your Church and people." It is not for a lack of reason that thousands of hearts yearn after holiness and
consecration. It is a forerunner of God's power. God works to will and then He works to do. These yearnings are
a witness and a proof that God has worked to will. Oh, let us in faith believe that the omnipotent God will work
to do among His people more than we can ask. "Unto him," Paul said, "that is able to do exceeding abundantly
above all that we ask or think,. unto him be glory" (Ephesians 3:20,21). Let our hearts say that. Glory to God, the
omnipotent One, who can do above what we dare to ask or think!
"The things which are impossible with men are possible with God." All around you there is a world of sin and
sorrow, and Satan is there. But remember, Christ is on the throne; Christ is stronger; Christ has conquered; and
Christ will conquer. But wait on God. My text casts us down: "The things which are impossible with men", but it
ultimately lifts us up high-"are possible with God." Get linked to God. Adore and trust Him as the omnipotent
One, not only for your own life, but for all the souls that are entrusted to you. Never pray without adoring His
omnipotence, saying: "Mighty God, I claim Your almightiness. " And the answer to the prayer will come. Like
Abraham you will become strong in faith, giving glory to God, because you account Him who has promised able
to perform.
